We all want what is best for our children and grandchildren!

As parents we are all working to build a sound foundation into our children in the midst of a challenging culture. At times as parents we wonder:

Am I handling the relationship and challenges well?
What can we do to set our children up to succeed beyond our home?
How and where will my child end up?

YTN has been working to understand the new generation of young people and how we set them up to succeed beyond our front door. Today 70% walk away from their faith and 26% drop out in the first year of college, the costs of which are staggering. By reviewing existing research and spending time with 1,500 teens we have identified key factors that encourage their growth: spiritually, emotionally, academically and socially.

Based upon our research we have developed resources in three vital areas, as we look to set our young people up to succeed when they leave home.

YTN has developed a community based youth initiative strategy that integrates these areas in order to impact the loss of youth in your area. We have found that it is crtical that each of the groups that influence our teens (parents, pastors, church leadership) understand the issues, opportunities and flash points that either motivate or discourage the development of our teens. By arriving at a common understanding we can develop an environment that will deeply impact the hearts of our young people and reinforce the Truth in their lives.
