The combination of change, loneliness and stress frequently leads students to escape the awkward feelings by bonding with the first thing that accepts them on campus. Research indicates that the social change is the top factor contributing to the 26% drop out rate of college freshman nationally. The same factors contribute heavily to the 70% who leave the church in the transition once on their own. It is vital that our young people be prepared to handle the stress, change, responsibilities and spiritual environment of the community college or four year university they will attend.
The Youth Transition Network and Focus on the Family have combined our strengths to provide a holistic preparation event for your students. Together we can help our young people’s faith flourish in the next phase of life. Everyone attending Succeed, will receive the first set of True U, a Truth Project program designed to strengthen young peoples faith.

Last year Black Rock Community Church served as a host site for Succeed.
"This last year I had ten of my high school students participate in the Youth Transition Network Webcast. All of them were greatly challenged to be spiritually ready for college. Most of them were blown away by the idea that their first 72 hours at college were the most important in staying strong in their faith. In talking with the students as they all have started college, they say that much of what they learned from the webcast was true about their first days at college. Many of them were able to find Christian roommates and are already plugged into campus ministries because of the website liveabove.com."
