Ministry Leaders

YTN is a ministry devoted to helping you address the loss of youth issue in the US. There are four components to affectively addressing the loss:

1. Parents
2. Church Leadership
3. Preparation
4. Connection

Based upon our research YTN has been developing and testing content and resources that address each of these areas helping to align perspectives between audiences that are often at odds related to youth ministry.

PARENTS

YTN's research confirms what youth and college ministry leaders have witnessed. Parents play a significant role in the direction their students will head. We find that even great parents, who love their kids and are strong believers, often negatively impact their kids faith and desire to stay in the church.

YTN has developed a non-threatening way to address these issues with parents helping them wrestle with a variety off issues impacting teen's faith. CHURCH LEADERSHIP

Youth Pastors and Leaders across the nation are reading, praying and examining research in an effort to reach and keep our young people. Their effort to understand often creates an increasing gap in the perspective of youth ministry leaders and Church Leadership.

YTN has developed a seminar for church leadership to help expose the pastoral team, elders and deacons to the research and issues. This powerful one-hour session brings together, research, student and youth pastor video segments along with content that will help church leadership better understand the needs and challenges of youth ministry today. PREPARATION

Today research from Ohio State, YTN and Fuller Seminary shows that students are not prepared for the changes and challenges of leaving home. Many issues impact students when they graduate from high school including, social change, stress, culture shock, worldview and new expectations. By preparing high school juniors and seniors we help them avoid the pitfalls that drag many away from the Lord.

YTN has developed a variety of tools youth leaders can use to help awaken their graduates to the challenges ahead:

Be Prepared a video addressing the social issue through the eyes of college students along with the potential consequences of compromise.

Are You Ready? a video that includes the Be Prepared videos along with additional issues including the pressures, ministry awareness, academics and finances all through the eyes of college students.

Be Prepare Kit an interactive one and a half hour session you can run with you juniors and seniors including PowerPoint, KeyNote and Quick time slide presentations with embedded college student video clips.

Succeed a live, interactive preparation event, a HD webcast for churches across the country addressing the social change, pressures, academic environment, financial management challenge, common world view attacks and the importance of carrying your faith forward by connecting to ministry in college.

Succeed On DVD this is a DVD series based upon the previous years Succeed event with seven sessions designed to be 45 minutes long including discussion questions addressing the issues they will face beyond high school.

CONNECTION
